These hair colouring techniques are similar because they both involve our colourists lovingly applying bespoke, hand-painted highlights to your hair. The difference comes in because balayage tends to create a more natural blended look as the colour becomes lighter towards the ends of your hair with the roots remaining a closer colour to your base shade.
The ombré technique creates a more noticeable gradient between the hair colours used and so this gives a bolder, two-toned hair colour effect.
